Second Chance Rescue is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to save the lives of abandoned dogs and puppies throughout Northern and Central California. Founded in 1993, our organization now saves the lives of nearly 1,000 animals each year. Sadly, this is about the same number of dogs put to death every two months in Lake County alone (one of the many high kill shelters where we rescue).
This year's event promised to be an elegant evening of food, drink, and entertainment at the beautiful, historic Presidio Officer’s Club in the Presidio of San Francisco, with over 400 attendees. It will be held on Friday, October 15, at 6:30 p.m. We urgently need reliable volunteers to help in every phase of the event. Please help us continue saving these wonderful animals.
