n. A person who does not eat meat or fish. They may however, eat eggs, cheese and other dairy products. Ethical vegetarians often avoid fur or leather.

n. A strict vegetarian who eats plant products only, especially one who uses no products derived from animals, such as honey, fur or leather.

After dinner, Dr. Dina will speak on the latest research on two relatively recently discovered substances, AGE 's and Acrylamide, that can wreck havoc upon our health. He will explain what veggie and non-veggie foods these substances are in and how they can form in our bodies even if we are vegans! With the information he will give us, we will know what choices to make in the pursuit of optimal health.
Dr. Dina has been studying and practicing optimal vegan nutrition for 17 years. He served on the staff with Dr. Alan Goldhamer at the True North Health Center. He also taught nutrition and natural hygiene principles at Bastyr University, the leading school for naturopathic medicine.
