PermalinkRussell Simmons denies link to McDonald's
Last week news broke that McDonald's was looking to improve their uniforms. McDonald's, in an effort to make their uniforms more flashy and stylish, reached out to fashion designers P. Diddy, Tommy Hilfiger, and Russell Simmons as potential makers of the new uniforms. Well, one of them is officially off the list.

At a recent Phat Farm promotional event in Vancouver, Canada, Russell Simmons stated that Phat Farm will not be designing anything for McDonald's. Simmons, founder of the Def Jam record label, as well as HHSAN, was somewhat upset that his name would be linked to the fast food chain. He said, "Not only is it not true, I'm not in talks with them [McDonalds]. I'm a vegan! It goes against my principles... I don't eat anything that runs away from me..."
