The SMC Event Center is located under St. Mary’s Cathedral. Free parking is available at the onsite parking lot but is limited to 200 spaces. There is also street and metered parking in the neighborhood. But we encourage you to use public transportation instead.

The event center is located at Gough St & Geary St in San Francisco. Set your coordinates to 1111 Gough St, San Francisco, CA. If you’re using MUNI, the 49, 38, and 31 all stop within walking distance of the Cathedral. WESTBOUND: 38 GEARY stops on the corner of Gough; EASTBOUND: 38 Geary stops on Geary at Laguna within walking distance. 38R GEARY R stops on Geary/Starr King corner further down the hill.

Pets are not allowed at the festival, but Service Animals (with proper documentation) are allowed. Emotional support animals, however, are not allowed at the festival.

No. The sole focus of WVF is on veganism—its ethical, environmental, and health dimensions. Any political, religious/spiritual or other activist agendas are prohibited at WVF. Please review SFVS Statement of Institutional Neutrality for details.

Yes, entrance fee for non-SFVS members is $15. SFVS members and children under 18 enter free of charge. Seniors (62+) students are $10 with ID. Purchasing tickets online is encouraged to help speed up the check in process. Tickets are on sale now, or you can become a member on our website any time.

Yes. At registration, you will receive a wristband that will enable you to leave and re-enter the festival from 11AM – 5PM.

All purchases made to the exhibitors will be directly to the vendor. Cash, Venmo, and credit cards will be accepted by most vendors; but cash is preferred.

A variety of local and out of state exhibitors selling food, clothing, art, kitchenware, books and nonprofit and animal rescue organizations will be on hand. An indoor food court will feature a variety of food booths specializing in cuisines from around the world. Additional booths will sell packaged foods and there will be a free food sampling table. All food and merchandise will be vegan.
