Located in the St. Francis Hall, the indoor food court space with dining room style tables and chairs and a stage for entertainment

The San Francisco Health Department fees are mandatory and not included in vendor fees. Please see below for more info.

Vendors that Serve Food

San Francisco Health Department Food Permit Fees

  • All vendors that serve, sell foods, and/or provide food samples need to fill out a Temporary Food Facility Concessionaire Application. and submit to SF VegFest Food Vendor Coordinator at patly@sfvs.org. Vendors with an existing annual permit won't be charged a fee, but will be listed on the SFVS Event Sponsor Food permit. SFVS will coordinate and submit each vendor’s application in 1 package to the SF Health Dept. for review. More information here.

  • The vendor fee is based on the type of product(s). 

High Hazard Food Vendors

  • Cooking, food preparation, food assembling, open food plating, and espresso bars ON site. 

  • Application fee: $142.00 + Approval/inspection $125.00 per booth = $267 total SF Health permit fees

Low Hazard Food Vendors

  • Pre-packaged food (with or without sampling) and bars

  • Application $55.00 + Approval/inspection $81.00 = $136 total SF Health permit fees

Nonprofits

  • Nonprofits who provide foods samples. Per Health dept, permit fees may be waived by SF Health dept, but we will get confirmation after permits are submitted for Health Dept for review.
