Come join us for another vegan potluck in Oakland (West Oakland Brunch Library, 1801 Adeline St. Oakland). If you are available to help set up at 1:30 pm or clean up after 4:00, please us know.
Please bring a vegan dish to share. You do not have to be vegan to attend this event, but every dish should be 100% vegan -- no meat, no fish, no eggs, no dairy, no honey, no products derived from animals of any kind. Please do not bring any alcoholic drinks or drinks that look like they contain alcohol in order to avoid confusion. It is against the library's policy to have alcoholic drinks on site.

Plant Power Day
Plant Power Day is an annual celebration held on March 7th to encourage people to eat more plant-based meals and highlight the benefits of a plant-rich diet for both health and the environment. Celebrated since 2018 by organizations like Alpro and BOSH!, it promotes the health benefits of a plant-based diet, such as lower cholesterol and improved mood, as well as its positive impact on the planet by reducing pollution and greenhouse gas emissions.

The Power of Truth in Advocacy (via Zoom)

Annual Members’ Meeting and Board Election
Annual Members’ Meeting and Board Election on Wednesday, January 28, 2026, from 6:00–7:30 PM at the San Francisco Public Library (Main Branch, Civic Center). Doors open at 5:45pm. Please arrive before 6 so we can start promptly.
At the Annual Members’ Meeting, the Nominating Committee will formally present the slate, and active SFVS members will vote. Your participation matters—not only to ensure a valid election under our bylaws (for which we need at least 37 members, excluding those up for election) but also to help shape the future leadership and direction of SFVS.
Dinner will be provided at the meeting!

Bunny Cafe San Francisco has set a grand opening on 1327 Columbus Ave. in the City on Sunday Dec. 21st from 11am-2pm. The cafe is a vegan/vegetarian grab 'n go concept that features local coffee bean roasters, farmers market produce, fresh-baked pastries and a reimagined rabbit adoption space in collaboration with local rescues!
